Ifyouwantthesystemtowaituntilauserhasdisconnectedbeforeinitiating
arebalancingoftheirdesktop,selectWaitforuserstologoff.

Using an Existing View Composer Database
WhenselectingtheODBCdatasourceduringtheinstallationoftheViewComposer
serviceyoucanuseanexistingdatabasethatalreadycontainsViewComposerdata.
However,inordertomakethisdatasourcecompatiblewithanewinstanceoftheView
ComposerserviceyoumustfirsttransfertheRSAkey
containercreatedbytheoriginal
ViewComposerservicetothenewhostsystem.
TheASP.NETIISregistrationtoolprovidedwiththeMicrosoft.NETFrameworkallows
youtoconductmultipleconfigurationoperations,includingmigratingkeycontainer
contentbetweendifferentsystems.
Tocarryoutthefollowingprocedureyoumusthavethe.NETFramework
installedon
thesystemthatcontains(orpreviouslycontained)theinstanceofViewComposerthat
wasassociatedwiththedatabaseyouwanttouse.Youmustalsoinstallthe.NET
frameworkonthesystemonwhichyouwanttoinstallthenewinstance.

OTEIfyouselectthisoption,connecteduserswillbenotifiedpriorto
disconnectionandgiventheopportunitytoclosetheirapplicationsandlog
out.ThenotificationmessagecanbeaccessedfromwithintheGlobalSettings
sectionoftheconfigurationviewinViewAdministrator.
NOTERSAkeypairsarecreatedbytheViewComposerserviceinordertoencryptand
decryptthesensitiveauthenticationinformationthatisstoredinsidetheView
